We were excited to be part of SIGGRAPH 2026 (July 19–23, Los Angeles), the premier conference for computer graphics and interactive techniques. As shown by our efforts on the Vulkan SDK, validation layers, GFXReconstruct, and other essential developer tools, LunarG is deeply committed to advancing the Vulkan ecosystem and helping developers build high-performance graphics and compute applications.
At SIGGRAPH 2026 we shared the latest updates, tools, and insights directly with the community.
GFXReconstruct – an Engine for Vulkan Debugging and Profiling
In this birds-of-a-feather session on July 20th, we presented GFXReconstruct — LunarG’s open-source framework for capturing, replaying, and analyzing Vulkan applications — and described how it can transform your debugging and profiling workflows. In this session we covered:
- Capturing and replaying graphics commands
- Command-line and integrated tool usage
- Recent project updates and real-world use cases
- Opportunities to provide feedback and contribute to future development
If you’re optimizing performance or tracking down tricky bugs, this BoF had something for you.
